TANALISED pressure treated timber is a high-performance product with a service life exceeding 15 years depending on its end use (see above Use Class summary).  When used under standard conditions (i.e. for the intended purpose only) the timber has a guaranteed service life of 15 years when placed in direct soil or freshwater contact (Use Class 4). 

Our tables are made from sustainably sourced Redwood Pine timber from well managed forests across Europe, and our suppliers hold certification for FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody.

TANALISED preservative pressure treatment will significantly extend the service life of timber by providing an effective protection against all forms of wood decay and insect attack.  Carried out in industrial treatment vessels by trained operators, treatments use a proven process of pressure and vacuum cycles to impregnate the wood preservative deep and permanently into the timber cells.

TANALITH E. wood preservative is a unique combination of copper and organic biocide ingredients, with over 20 years of proven performance around the world in providing the very best protection for timber.  It will not leach, is approved for use by regulatory authorities, and the biocides contained in the preservative are supported under the Biocidal Products Regulation.

The colour of TANALISED pressure treated timber slowly weathers from an initial pale green hue to a warm, honey brown and in the longer term to a natural silver grey.  This weathering process does not indicate any loss of preservative protection.

If required, the colour can be refreshed with a suitable brush-on colour product.  Enhanced protection against the weather can be obtained by applying a suitable brush-applied water repellent coating to the surface of the treated timber.  Always follow the coating manufacturer’s instructions.
